About the South Zonal Meet, which was held in Bandlaguda Jair and in which more than 800 kids competed in sports, Tanish Head Boy interviewed VP ma'am. Being the host this year is undoubtedly a great time for BOMIS Bandlaguda Jagir, and as VP maam stated, the closing ceremony was a spectacular occasion when we commemorated the three-day voyage. Together with our Chief Guests Sikki Reddy and Sumeet Reddy, all of the directors from various branches came together for this occasion, supporting their students and presenting the winners. They valued our pupils and inspired them to perform better in the future. At the end, there are prizes given to the teachers in recognition of their months of dedication to teaching their children.

For nursery students, it is already the hundredth day of classes! Whoa! Time goes by so fast, how thrilling. As we celebrate the learning and achievements that have occurred throughout the year, let's realise that the school year is more than halfway over. The parents were greeted to the celebration by Academic Head Narmada Ma'am, who was followed by Vice Principal Ma'am Sunita Kapoor. Together with parents they participated in the cake-cutting ceremony, parents and students together played games, engaged in fantastic activities and had a blast.
The event ended with encouraging comments and a look forward to the development of the young BOMIS students into responsible young ones.

The Wellness EmpowerEd Program, a pilot initiative by the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad (IIPHH), successfully raised awareness and enhanced mental well-being among schoolteachers. The program was led by Ms. Gracy Andrew, a Clinical Psychologist and Head of Training at the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad, India, along with her team of Consultant Psychologists, Ms. Keerthi Bandin and Ms. Rachana Dora. It offered a series of workshops aimed at improving mental health literacy for teachers.
The program focused on:-
Session 1- Focused on the basics of mental health, mental illness, and well-being, including the burden of mental disorders, and addressed key topics such as suicide risk and protective factors.
Session 2 - Explored youth mental health, the role of positive mental health, and practical strategies that teachers implemented to promote mental well-being in their schools. In addition teachers did case studies and role plays to understand the situation better and how to respond.

DEAR TIME,It is crucial to halt and take out time to read! Put everything aside and read! Following the custom, we completed the DEAR time activity, which involved setting out a specific time for reading. Reading allows us to focus on other things, immerse ourselves in other worlds, sit still, and travel wherever the book takes us. There are other additional benefits to reading, therefore we encourage everyone to take a moment to read a book and enjoy its many perks.

Grades 8, 9, and 10th Learning about organic farming is an excellent approach to introduce students to sustainable methods. This hands-on experience not only teaches kids about agriculture, but also emphasizes the need of environmentally sustainable techniques. Mr. Naidu demonstrated many plant types and provided insights into the use of cow dung and dry flowers as natural fertilizers. On a barren land, farming began with rainwater harvesting and efficient water management. The government just built weather predicting equipment, which has the potential to dramatically boost rainwater gathering activities.
Students travelled across paddy fields, enjoying the natural surroundings and learning about the organic farm. It is our obligation to educate the next generation of leaders about environmentally friendly alternatives.

Our Football Under-14 team won Third place in CBSE clusters VII held at Ridge School, Kurnool from 29th Sep to 2nd Oct 2024.
CBSE Clusters VII had 130 teams from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana across Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19.

We celebrated Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam today, which made it noteworthy. Our Telugu Department planned and conducted a unique assembly to highlight the value of our local tongue. Pupils performed speeches, danced, sang Telugu songs, answered riddles, and dressed as leaders.

We planned a special assembly where students from Primary to Secondary grades participated in a variety of programs, including speeches, essay recitations, poetry performances, and a Hindi skit.

Pre- Primary Parent Connect Cultural Fest was organized by Bandlaguda Jagir on September 20, 2024. Parents and their children dressed in costumes that represented various Indian states. Parents had the opportunity to exhibit their own traditions in a fun and creative way throughout the event. The diverse customs and cultures that unite people from all walks of life to celebrate and learn from the wealth of the nation's history. Parents effort in dressing up your little ones in the traditional attire of the states has brought the colours of India alive in the school. Happy Blue Day!This day was celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2024, with great delight and enthusiasm! All of the children dressed in gorgeous shades of blue, capturing the day's vivid energy. The day celebration connected learning about ocean strata to understanding aquatic life. Students created a blue peacock using their hand prints. A PowerPoint presentation displayed items found in the colour blue. Children learnt blue as their primary colour. The classrooms were decorated with streamers and artwork created by children to showcase their ingenuity. The Blue Day celebration not only brightened our day, but also helped the kids comprehend and appreciate colours and their meaning. It was a day full of joy and laughter.
Discovering and appreciating the natural world! Getting out of the classroom and observing nature can be a highly effective form of therapy. We are grateful for the greenery and healing energy that surround us. The retreats focus on detaching and reconnecting with oneself and the beauty surrounding them.

It's time to head outdoors for the field trip. Zoo Park, rejoice. 3rd and 4th Graders, with their classmates, the students had a great day in the zoo, where they got up close to the animals. Teachers continued to mentor them and to impart knowledge about animals. Together, the students had a marvelous time. Yes, the day was jam-packed with knowledge and fun.
Making the present generation play in mud is a means to bring back the good old days. On August 7, 2024, our young ones participated in a Mud Play Day centered around the recurring topic of "Murky Mud." Students were observed appreciating the unstructured, messy play, which is an extremely healthy type of play that fosters growth in all areas of a child's development, including physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
When children used their imaginations to create different shapes while rolling and clumping in the mud, the fun multiplied. The exercise gave students a flexible platform to express their imaginations and creativity while also strengthening their relationships with one another. Engaging in such activities helps children strengthen their immune systems and fosters innovative ideas that support their general creative growth.
On occasion of Independence Day. Pre-Primary students led a special assembly in which children spoke about the significance of Independence Day, showcased a drill, sang patriotic songs and performed dances. Students displayed their extraordinary gymnastic abilities. The talent exhibited by children was commendable. It was a reaffirmation of national identity and a celebration of the continuing spirit of freedom.
For students to grow, physical activity is crucial, and when it's combined with music to groove to, it's even more enjoyable. Students are having fun while doing Zumba.
Our inquisitive second-graders enjoyed a fantastic field trip experience at Masqati Dairy Farm. They were given a behind-the-scenes peek at the intriguing process of turning farm produce into dairy products. investigating the state-of-the-art technology underlying their favorite dairy products. For our younger kids, learning about the numerous processes involved in the production and processing of milk storage and making a connection between what they were learning and real-world applications was a wonderful experience.
Field trip concluded with an ice cream cup combined with almond milk, their faces brightened up.
K2 students had a wonderful theme Culmination Day which took place on 8th August 2024. Our K-2 children were able to apply the knowledge and abilities they had learned during their theme study to real-world projects on the culminating day. Students who presented their work had a sense of accomplishment. Guests for the show were the senior students. With the aid of the models and charts, the students presented the subjects with certainty.
Independence Day Grade - 1 They dressed as "Heros of Freedom" They all were dressed as iconic figures - Jawaharlal Nehru,Bhagat Singh., Lal Bahadur Shastri ,Subhas Chandra Bose,Rani Laxmi Bai.... It was a vibrant and energetic celebration, showcasing their creativity and patriotism. Student Council Elections 2024-2025 Creating Leaders for a Better Tomorrow! Let's take a closer look at today's student election process and define the term 'democracy'. Campus is buzzing with enthusiasm. Contestants have contributed by presenting their manifestos, speaking to them on stage, being visible, putting up posters in schools, and making promises. Today is the day when BOMIS students from Grades 5 through 10 will vote on their future leaders for the academic year 2024-2025.
Rainbows are among nature's most spectacular spectacles. Today, our children celebrated Rainbow Day, which was interwoven into the ongoing theme of "Raving Rain." It was a colorful and happy day to remember. On this particular day, a magnificent rainbow lights up the sky after the rain. Rainbow Day was an exciting opportunity for young children to learn about colours and appreciate the uniqueness of each shade in the rainbow. Students dressed as brightly as a rainbow. To comprehend how a rainbow is generated, students participated in a range of pleasant activities that strengthened their cognitive capacities. Little ones danced and sang songs about rainbows, which resembled small drops of rain dropping from the sky. One of the most exciting components of the Rainbow Day celebration for children was learning what causes a rainbow to appear in the sky. The day ended with a strong sense of satisfaction and camaraderie.
Puppet shows are one of the oldest and most successful ways to impart moral values to our future generations. Young students were captivated in the story and entertained.
